Hendershot Gallery is pleased to present La Charmeuse de Serpents, the first New York solo exhibition by Dutch artist
Hadassah Emmerich. Included in this exhibition is a selection of large-scale paintings and a salon of smaller plates from
the artist's "Casino Exotique" series. Using materials such as ink, watercolor, charcoal, acrylic and lino-cut, Emmerich
creates rich layered scenes that address the complex representation of the female image in relation to modern art and
the exotic.
